Auditions are fast approaching for the NBA Denver Nuggets dancers. Do you see yourself dancing side by side with these great performers? In this guide, we’re going to show you the details of the upcoming tryouts this 2018, including an overview of the Denver Nuggets dancers.
Who are the Denver Nuggets Dancers?

The Denver Nuggets Dancers are the official pro cheerleading squad for the NBA Denver Nuggets. These beautiful and talented women perform for at least 19,000 fans during home games. They actively involve themselves in community service and travel within their location and abroad for photo shoots, appearances, and other team events.
One of the perks of becoming a Denver Nuggets dancer is that you get sponsored for hair styling, gym memberships, tanning, and waxing services. Most women on the team are professionals. While they have different backgrounds and come from other locations, they unite because of their passion for dancing.
What is the schedule for the 2018 tryouts? What are the requirements?
- Date and time: July 14 (Preliminaries and semi-finals). Registration time is from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM
- Location: Pepsi Center
- Prep classes: Classes will start on June 1.

Overview of the prep classes:
The Denver Nuggets dancers offers prep classes that help you familiarize yourself with their choreography. Each prep class will teach you different combos and give you a feel of the actual audition process. While they are not required, they give you a competitive edge.
Overview of the auditions and qualifications:
Preliminaries and semi-finals will take place on the same date, July 14. Choreography will be taught and you are to perform it for the judges in a small group. There will also be small-group interviews for those who make it to the semi-final round. Please bring your own food and snacks are you are not allowed to leave the premises when the auditions start.
In order to participate in the auditions, you need to be at least 18 years old. While being a Nuggets Dancer is not a full-time job, you should be able to attend rehearsals and team-related events. Preseason rehearsals usually occur on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights.
