The 2019 auditions are fast approaching for the NBA Brooklynettes. Today, we’re giving you details of their upcoming tryouts. If you're planning to join this awesome team, here's a quick overview:

Qualifications, Requirements, and What the Judges Look for
The Brooklynettes are looking for dancers who are at least 18 years old and have dance training and experience in Hip-Hop and Jazz dance styles. While tumbling skills are not required, they are a plus. If you make the team, you should be willing to attend all home games, corporate events, charity functions, and more.

2019-2020 Audition Prep Series

While you still need to wait for the complete audition details, what you can do today is register for their audition prep series which will take place on June 29 and 30, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the St. Francis College - 4th Floor Genovsi Center Gym. This 2-day series has a total of 4 sessions that will teach you the following: across the floor/technique audition choreography, Street Jazz, mock one-on-one interview sessions, and more. GREAT NEWS: 4 dancers get an opportunity to move past the first round of the Brooklynette auditions.

About the Brooklynettes
The Brooklynettes are ambassadors to the Brooklyn Nets basketball team. These athletic dancers don't just perform at home games, but they also appear at corporate events, private parties, fashion shows, and travel worldwide.
