The NBA Cleveland Cavaliers PowerHouse Dancers will be holding their 2019 auditions very soon. Today, we’re giving you details of their upcoming tryouts. If you're planning to join this awesome team, here's a quick overview:
ROUND 1 OF THE AUDITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY, JULY 20, AT 10:00 AM. LOCATION IS AT 12665 CORPORATE DRPARMA OH44130.

Qualifications, Requirements, and What the Judges Look for
The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking for candidates who are 18 years old or older by July 23, 2019. You should be able to demonstrate dance, performance, and speaking skills. Take note that while tumbling skills are not required, they are a plus. If you will be chosen as one of the PowerHouse dancers, you should be willing to devote a huge amount of your time for team practices, home games, and other team-related projects.

Audition Attire
You are free to wear any dance clothing that will allow you to dance comfortably and perform different dance styles or techniques. This is a chance to show off your personality. Crop top and shorts are not a requirement.
Overview of the Auditions
The 2019 PowerHouse auditions will consist of 3 phases:
- Round 1 - On July 20, there will be 2 eliminations that include an across-the-floor pass and hip-hop choreography. This round will be closed to the public.
- Round 2 - On July 21, there will be 1 elimination that includes choreography from the previous day. You will also perform your own freestyle dance which consists of 6-8 counts. 30 finalists will proceed to the training camp.
- Finalist Training Camp - On July 22 and 23, the finalists will review choreography from the previous day and also learn new choreography. Interviews will be held.
