The 2019 auditions are fast approaching for the NBA Denver Nuggets Dance Team. Today, we’re giving you details of their upcoming tryouts. If you're planning to join this awesome team, here's a quick overview:
PRELIMINARY AUDITIONS will take place on Friday, July 12, at Pepsi Center. Registration starts at 6:00 PM.
Qualifications, Requirements, and What the Judges Look for
The Denver Nuggets are looking for dancers who are at least 18 years of age by July 12. Dancers who are 17 years old should have a parent or guardian who can sign the waiver on their behalf. If you make the team, you should have reliable transportation to Denver Nuggets dance practices and be able to participate in almost all home games.

What to Wear and Bring
The DND requires auditionees to wear athletic attire and shoes with non-marking soles. Also, submit a submit non-returnable 8" x 10" headshot.
Overview of the Auditions
2019-2020 DND auditions will consist of four parts: Preliminary auditions, Semi-finals, Finalists' training, and Choreography showcase. As previously mentioned, registration during the preliminaries will start at 6:00 PM. Finalists will be announced by 10:30 PM. Please note that the audition schedule may change.

About the Denver Nuggets Dance Team
The Denver Nuggets Dancers are the official pro cheerleading squad for the NBA Denver Nuggets. These beautiful and talented women perform for at least 19,000 fans during home games. They actively involve themselves in community service and travel within their location and abroad for photo shoots, appearances, and other team events.
These women perform a wide variety of dance styles including jazz-hip-hop, pom, and more. The 2018-2019 squad consists of 17 members who are rookies and veterans.
