The NBA Philadelphia 76ers Dancers will be holding their 2019 auditions very soon. Today, we’re giving you details of their upcoming tryouts. If you're planning to join this awesome team, here's a quick overview:
Open call auditions for the upcoming 2019-2020 season will take place on Saturday, June 29. Registration starts at 9:30 am.

Qualifications, Requirements, and What the Judges Look for
The 76ers are looking for candidates who are at least 18 years old. Based on their open call audition registration, dance training and performance experience are important as well as gymnastic skills. If you make the team this year, you should be available for evening rehearsals and have your own transportation. The open call auditions will be on June 29, at Temple University's Pearson /Mcgonigle Hall. Note: Be sure to complete their audition release form and bring it with you to the workshop.
Pre-Audition Workshops
The 76ers dancers are offering those who want to prepare better for the upcoming auditions to join their paid dance workshops. There are 2 workshops which will be held on June 22 and June 26. The 76ers dancers are an entertainment group and serve as ambassadors for the NBA Philadelphia 76ers. The dancers are an integral part of the game night experience. Not only do they perform on game nights, but they also attend community and sponsorship events throughout the year.
