2019 NFL Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders Auditions Info

Auditions are fast approaching for the NFL Philadelphia Eagles cheerleading and dance team. We’re giving you initial details about their 2019 tryouts. Excited??? You should be. The open call audition will take place on March 23, Saturday, at the Lincoln Financial Field. If you’re thinking of joining this awesome NFL dance team, you better start preparing now!

Qualifications, Requirements, and What the Judges Look for

The NFL Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders require candidates to be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate.

If you make the 2019 squad, you should be available for their Introductory Meeting. In that meeting, the schedule for the year will be discussed. Also, you need to be available for rehearsals which will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

What about the judging criteria? The judges will evaluate you based on physical fitness, showmanship, and dance ability. Your ability to retain dance choreography will also be assessed.

What to Wear and Bring

For your audition attire, the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders recommend fitted athletic/fitness attire and dance sneakers. Please bring snacks and bottled water with you, as well as makeup. Leave your valuables at home.

Overview of the Auditions

The registration will start at 10:00 AM. When you arrive at the venue, you will receive a contestant number. The open call audition will consist of 2 parts -- these are Modeling and Dance. If you remain after the elimination, you will be invited back on March 27.

2019 Prep Clinic

Get an advantage in the auditions by joining their 2019 prep clinic. It will be a two-night workshop -- March 12 and March 14. If you attend the workshop, you get to learn the dance audition routine and fitness portion. Check out their page to learn more and register.

The Philadephia Eagles cheerleaders perform in front of 70,000 fans and get featured in top magazines like Maxim and Sports Illustrated. They also travel internationally to perform for their fans in Shanghai, London, Toronto, and more.

When not entertaining fans in the arena, the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders actively participate in environmental projects. Building community awareness, the squad raises funds for the Eagles Go Green and Eagles Tackling Breast Cancer.

Their 2018-2019 squad has 36 members.
