Hey ladies! As you may already know, auditions are being held virtually in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Here, you'll find the details you'll need about the Las Vegas Raiderettes auditions and some useful links that will guide you through the preparation process. Read on!
Audition Rounds and Other Details

Here are their 2020 audition dates and online registration details:
Preliminary Auditions
- After your online pre-registration, you will be sent a link for the preliminaries on your email on Friday, May 1, 2020.
- An audition choreography will also be sent for you to learn at your discretion.
- The preliminary auditions will be by submission of video choreography.
- The video choreography deadline is at 5:00 p.m. PST on Monday, May 4, 2020.
- The online pre-registration deadline is at 5:00 p.m. PST Thursday, April 30, 2020.
Semifinal Auditions
- Semifinalists will receive individual emails on Friday, May 15, 2020.
- A video interview link will be included in the email.
Final Auditions
- Finalists will receive individual emails on Friday, May 22, 2020.
- Included in the email is the time and location for the Final Auditions.
- The final auditions will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- The final auditions day consists of three portions:
- Interview by the judges.
- Dancing (First Part) - Showcase the choreography given during the preliminary round with other candidates in small groups.
- Dancing (Second Part) - Showcase your individual style, talent, and solo routine within 1-minute of your own choice of music.
- The deadline for your music to be used on your solo routine is at 5:00 p.m. PST on Friday, June 1, 2020.
- The finals will be closed to the general public.
- All dates and events are subjected to changes at the discretion of the team

Qualifications and What the Judges Look for
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age by May 1, 2020
- Must be available to attend all home games, special appearances throughout the season, and all team practices. The squad practice sessions are three to four times a week and will begin immediately following Final Auditions:
- June - January
- Monday 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.
- Tuesday 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.
- Wednesday 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.
- Thursday 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.
- Saturday 7:30 - 10:30 a.m.
- The Monday practices will only be from June to July. Saturday practices will only happen and are required for the week of home games.
- Must be able to attend Orientation on Saturday, June 13, 2020.
- Must be available to attend all the photoshoots and media days.
Candidates who get selected as a Raiderette may not cheer for any other college or professional sports team
Judging Criteria

- Appearance
- Talent
- Dance Ability
The auditions will include an evaluation of your public speaking ability. So be prepared to share your enthusiasm and confidence!

Prep Classes
There will be no dance prep classes or clinics for the Raiderettes this year in compliance with state and local governments’ shelter-in-place orders. However, here are dance tutorials to guide you on what to showcase for the auditions.

The 2020 Las Vegas Raiderettes Cheerleaders will be the first Raiderette squad in Nevada after the official transfer of the Raiders from Oakland to Las Vegas. Every squad member of the Raiderettes gets the opportunity to represent the globally-iconic brand of the team. Not only that, but squad members are also given opportunities to travel abroad, get exposed through various media, corporate, community and charity events with pay!
