2021 NFL Denver Broncos Cheerleaders Auditions Info

Auditions are fast approaching! I'm sure you're excited to become part of an NFL pro cheerleading/dance team. Is it the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders? Because they've already released this year's audition details. Here's what you need to know about the auditions and getting yourself prepared!
Audition Rounds and Other Details
Here are their 2021 audition dates:
- The virtual preliminary audition material will be sent on March 26, 2021 to applicants who have passed the online form before March 24, 2021.
- There will be 3 audition rounds: Preliminary, semi-final, and final auditions. The finalists will be announced via email.
- Since preliminary auditions will be done virtually, it’s best to prepare yourself by setting up a place to dance and securing a good camera.
- The deadline for your audition video will be on the 28th of March 2021 at 12 pm mountain standard time.
- Once you have qualified for the preliminaries, you will be invited again for the virtual semi-final audition round on April 10, 2021, Saturday, 10 am to 12 pm MST.
- Finalists are required to appear in person and they will be announced on April 10, 2021, Saturday, 10 am to 12 pm MST.

Qualifications and What the Judges Look For
Qualifications and requirements:
- You must be 21-years-old or older by May 1, 2021 to audition.
- You must submit a personal photograph through this link. It can be a headshot, full-body, in color, or black and white. Do not forget to label it: “FirstName.LastName.photograph” or “firstname.lastname.headshot”
- You must submit a release of liability through this link. You can submit and e-signature through DocuSign. You can also submit a photograph of the document. Just make sure your signature and the document contents are clearly seen, in focus, and well lit. Don’t forget to label the document or photograph: “FirstName.LastName.release”
- Applications and the required documents must be submitted before March 24, 2021.
Judging Criteria
- You must show a high level of dancing ability.
- You must appear well-groomed as the judges will also focus on appearance.
- Applicants who are actively involved in their communities are more likely to be favored.
- Don’t forget to list your personal accomplishments. The judges might ask you about them.
Audition Attire
The preliminary and semi-final auditions will be held virtually. You won’t have to bring anything and there might be no guidelines for audition attires. If they do, they will be sent to you after you have passed your application.
Prep Classes

The Broncos Cheerleaders’ audition prep class will be taught by three of the squad’s alumni. You’ll learn about showmanship, dance techniques, choreography, and flexibility which could help you secure a spot in the pro cheer team.
These preparation classes will be held at the Empower Field at Mile High with a $10.00 fee on March 11 and 19, 2021 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Participants must be 18-years-old and older with previous dance experience. The registrations will close at noon on the class’s day. For those who can’t attend in person, there will be a live of the classes via Zoom.

Every spring, the Broncos Cheerleaders hold auditions for the 26-slots. Women who make the squad perform their energetic dances for the Denver Broncos’ home games at the Empower Field at Mile High.
The cheerleading squad is very involved in the community, charities, and civic duties. One of their well-known programs is “Cheer for the Troops” - a campaign to collect items the servicemen and women all over the world need and have them distributed during the holidays.
There was no 2020 Denver Broncos cheerleading squad due to COVID-19. But you can still meet the 2019 squad right here!
