2021 NFL Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders Auditions Info

Auditions are fast approaching! I'm sure you're excited to become part of an NFL pro cheerleading/dance team. Is it the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders? Because they've already released this year's audition details. Here's what you need to know about the auditions and getting yourself prepared!
Audition Rounds and Other Details
Here are their 2021 audition dates:
- Only applicants who have submitted their application before April 21, 2021 at 5 p.m. EST will receive the preliminary virtual audition details via email link.
- Please be sure to submit your application before the April 21 deadline. Click this link to apply now. You can also submit your application here. It’s best to submit your applications via the two links to really make sure.
- Since preliminary auditions will be a virtual video submission, it’s best to prepare yourself by setting up a place to dance and securing a good camera for recording.
- The deadline for your preliminary choreography video will be on April 24, 2021, Saturday, at 3:00 PM EST.
- Applicants who have passed the preliminaries will be announced as finalists on April 28, 2021.
- 50 finalists will be chosen and will attend the in-person workshops at Grand Park Sports Campus for 7 nonconsecutive days.
- The finalists’ business interviews will be on the 18th and 20th of May 2021.
- The 2021 Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders roster will be announced on May 23, 2021.

Qualifications and What the Judges Look For
Qualifications and requirements:
- You must be 18-years-old or older by June 1, 2021 to audition.
- You must be a high school graduate or have a G.E.D. by July 1, 2021.
- Please ready your proof of age and documentation for being a high school graduate.
Judging Criteria
- Your submitted choreography video will be evaluated by a panel of judges.
- The criteria for judging will be the accuracy of choreography, technical skills, and performance.
- Applicants who are actively involved in their communities are more likely to be favored.
- Don’t forget to list your academic accomplishments. The judges might ask you about them during the business interview process
- Applicants who have extensive knowledge of dancing are likely to be favored.
- Beginners can also score high points provided they can show they are fast learners.
Audition Attire
The preliminary audition is a video submission. You should submit a video with you wearing athletic leggings or capris and an athletic tank or half top. For your footwear, it’s highly recommended to wear sneakers or jazz shoes.
Prep Classes

The Colts Cheerleaders’ audition prep class will be taught in 6 consecutive weeks with two classes per week. You’ll learn important lessons which could help you prepare well for the auditions and pass the preliminaries. We highly encourage you to attend the in-person clinics at Grand Park – 19000 Grand Park Blvd., Westfield, IN 46074.
These preparation classes cost a $25.00 fee per week and if you attend all first 5 weeks, your 6th week is free. If you cannot attend the in-person clinics, you can attend the virtual clinics which are $10 each.

The Lucas Oil Stadium is the home arena of the Indianapolis Colts and it is also where the team’s pro cheerleaders dance during home games. Colts cheerleaders appear in a variety of events in the Indianapolis area and most of their appearances have the goal of creating a strong connection within the community and the fans of the NFL team. They are also one of the premiere pro cheerleading squads of the NFL.
