Auditions are fast approaching! I'm sure you're excited to become part of an NFL pro cheerleading/dance team. Is it the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders? Because they've already released this year's audition details. Here's what you need to know about the auditions and getting yourself prepared!
Audition Rounds and Other Details
Here are their 2021 audition dates:
- To register for the auditions, you must submit your application through this link first before 12:00 pm Eastern Time on May 20, 2021.
- The preliminary auditions will be done through video submission.
- Those who have submitted their applications will receive an email link to the instructions on how to submit the material for the preliminary virtual round.
- Included in the email link will be the choreography and music to be used in the video submission.
- The deadline for the video submissions will be on May 24, 2021, at 10:00 am Eastern Time.
- The selection of finalists will be on May 28, 2021. You will receive a notification whether you have been chosen to advance to the training camp or not.
- The training camp will consist of dance workshops and formal interviews and will be held sometime on the days of May 31, 2021, to June 7, 2021. The exact dates are to be decided with the finalists.
- The final team selection will be on June 12, 2021.

Qualifications and What the Judges Look For
Qualifications and requirements:
- To audition, you must be 18 years of age and older by June 12, 2021.
- You must be able to attend all rehearsals, appearances, game day performances, and other Bucs Cheerleaders events before and during the 2021 NFL season.
Judging Criteria
- The accuracy of how you execute your choreography is one of the criteria for judging.
- Your level of performance and technical dancing skills will be judged as well.

Audition Attire
There is no audition attire required. However, we recommend that you wear boyshorts, dance shorts, or sports tights for your lower body. For your upper body, it’s best to wear dance bras, sports bras, or any athletic tops. It’s also best to wear sneakers, jazz, dance, or rubber shoes for your video submission.
These suggestions are only a reference. The required audition attire might be given along with the instructions from the email link provided after submitting your application.
Prep Classes

There will be no audition prep classes for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders. Please do your research by reading more audition prep articles here at PRO CHEER LIFE, enrolling in an online dance class, or attend the prep classes of other NFL pro cheer teams. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders, also known as Bucs Cheerleaders is the official pro cheerleading team of the NFL Tampa Buccaneers. They perform at all the Buccaneers’ home games at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The Bucs cheerleaders along with the NFL team they represent are the rivals of the New Orleans Saints and the Saintsations since 2002.
Pro cheerleaders from the Bucs perform in overseas games. The squad is also known to celebrate most if not all of the American holidays through their holiday-themed uniforms and dancing.
