2022 NBA Indiana Pacemates Dance Team Auditions

Auditions are fast approaching! I'm sure you're excited to become part of an NBA dance team. Is it the Indiana Pacemates Dance Team? Because they've already released this year's audition details. Here's what you need to know about the auditions and getting yourself prepared!
Audition Rounds and Other Details
The Indiana Pacemates will be having their 2022 auditions on July 11 at the Madam Walker Legacy Center. Registration starts at 5:30 pm while the audition begins at 6:00 pm. Make sure that you’re prepared to stay throughout the evening.
Finalists will be chosen on July 11, then they can attend the following:
- Photo Shoot/Training Camp on July 12
- Training Camp on July 13
- Candidate Interviews & Training Camp on July 14
- Training Camp on July 18
- Audition Showcase Tech Rehearsal on July 19
- Indiana Pacemates Audition Showcase on July 20

Qualifications and What the Judges Look for
The Indiana Pacemates are looking for candidates who are at least 18 years old. They should have a highschool diploma or GED, have a reliable means of transportation, and are willing to travel for games, rehearsals, and appearances.
In addition, you should possess or demonstrate the following:
- Various dance styles - Jazz, Pom, and Hip-Hop
- Showcase individualized skills during the audition process
- Should be able to attend rehearsals twice a week and perform at every Pacers home game. You will also be asked to make appearances and attend various events.

About the NBA Indiana Pacemates Dance Team
The Indiana Pacemates Dance Team has 14-18 members each season who are all females. They’re full-time students or have full-time jobs and perform at every Pacers home game (preseason, regular and postseason). Furthermore, they bring class and style whether they’re performing in public, speaking to groups, and playing games at children’s birthday parties.
