2026 NBA Memphis Grizzlies Dance Team Auditions: Dates & Requirements

The Memphis Grizzlies have officially announced open auditions for their Live Entertainment teams for the upcoming 2026–27 season. The organization is inviting performers of different ages and talents to audition for several groups, including the Grizz Girls, Grannies & Grandpas, Blue Bunch, Grizzline, and Claw Crew.

Grizz Girls Prep Classes

The Grizzlies are also offering special prep classes for applicants who want to prepare before auditions. These sessions help candidates learn choreography, improve performance confidence, and understand the overall style of the entertainment teams.

Requirements for Each Team

Grannies & Grandpas Requirements
The Grizzlies are searching for male and female performers ages 50 and older. Applicants must submit a dance resume and an 8x10 headshot. Members are expected to attend rehearsals, games, and promotional appearances. Participants do not need to be actual grandparents or retired, but they should have a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and enough stamina for physically demanding rehearsals and performances.
Blue Bunch Requirements
Blue Bunch auditions are open to boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 17. Applicants must provide a dance resume and headshot and commit to rehearsals and appearances during the season.
Claw Crew Requirements
Claw Crew applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to attend at least three games and three events each month. The role includes fan engagement activities such as T-shirt tosses, dance cam participation, and sponsor activations. Candidates should have reliable transportation, feel comfortable on camera, and be capable of handling the physical demands of a fast-paced entertainment environment.
Grizzline Requirements
Grizzline candidates must be skilled percussionists age 18 or older. Applicants should know how to read sheet music, perform confidently in front of large crowds, and work well in a team-focused performance setting.
