2026 NFL Las Vegas Raiderettes Cheerleader Auditions: Dates & Requirements

The search is on for the next team of Raiderettes. The Las Vegas Raiders are officially holding auditions for the 2026–2027 Raiderettes professional cheerleading team, and candidates from across the country are invited to compete for a spot. Auditions will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the 2026 football season. If selected, Raiderettes are required to attend all home games in Las Vegas, along with appearances throughout Nevada. Some events may also involve travel. This role represents both performance excellence and community presence, so availability and commitment are essential.

Important Dates and Deadlines

The audition process includes multiple rounds:

Application Deadline: March 23, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.

Video Instructions Sent: March 25, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.

Open Casting Call (Video Submission Due): April 1, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.

Semi-Finals: April 20–24, 2026

Finals: April 26, 2026

Semi-finalist notifications will be emailed on April 6. The official 2026–2027 Raiderettes team will be revealed during Finals. All dates remain subject to change at the discretion of the organization.

Basic Eligibility Requirements

Before applying, confirm you meet the following criteria:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older by June 1, 2026
  • Prior dance experience is required
  • Must be available for all home games, practices, rehearsals, appearances, photo shoots, media days, and minicamp
  • May not cheer for another professional or collegiate team if selected
  • Practices run from May through January and are scheduled:
    • Tuesday: 6:30–10:30 P.M.
    • Wednesday: 6:30–10:30 P.M.
    • Saturday: 8:00–10:30 A.M.

Additional rehearsals for special events as needed

This is a part-time position, totaling fewer than 30 hours per week. Raiderettes are paid for all game days, rehearsals, appearances, events, and any applicable overtime.

Audition Format and Attire

Auditions evaluate dance technique, public speaking skills, poise, personality, and overall presentation. Candidates should be prepared to perform choreography, speak confidently, and express genuine enthusiasm.

For Preliminaries, two-piece dance attire is recommended. Choose something polished, flattering, and secure enough to allow full-out performance without distraction.
