4. Seven app

Tired of doing 30-minute to an hour of regular workout routines? Limit the time you spend exercising with a quick workout app.

This free app is like a typical workout app featuring a 3D model doing the exercises. But, what we love is you can choose the instructor's voice from a drill sergeant to a cheerleader.

You can also customize the app if you want more time to exercise up to around 40 minutes. The workouts follow High-Intensity Circuit Training exercises. There are also in-app challenges like building the habit of exercising.

5. My Fitness Pal

This app by Under Armour is well-known as a calorie calculator and diet plan. Keep track of the foods you eat by scanning the barcode. With a database of over 6 million foods, you'll get the most out of your calorie-counting.

You can also join challenges and earn rewards for logging in your food choices. The app is paid with around $50 annual subscription.
