6 Positive Thoughts for Your Pro Cheer Prep Morning
Waking up feeling awesome is the best way to kickstart your morning routine. If you spend your mornings working out and dancing in preparation for the upcoming auditions, you need to have the right attitude. That way, you can make the most out of your efforts. The result is success. Below, I have listed six positive thoughts for you to dwell on.
1. I am capable of amazing things.
Throughout history, we have proven that we can do great things if we put our mind to it. You are capable of gaining the kind of fitness, strength, flexibility you dream to have. You can dance like an NBA cheerleader. Convince yourself of what you can do and do the work necessary.
2. Today is an opportunity to become better.
Every single day is a chance to start anew. Always keep that in mind. Yesterday doesn’t matter unless you give it attention. Do not waste the gift that is today to create something amazing for yourself. There is power in the present moment.
3. My body is the vehicle to my dreams; therefore I will respect it.
How do you treat your body at this point in your life? Do you disrespect it by overtraining or filling it with junk? Do you compare it to other women and you end up feeling inadequate? Stop doing these things. Instead, love yourself into success.
4. I know enough already, and I’m ready to act on my knowledge.
Learning can sometimes turn into procrastination if you’re stuck in the process to the point where you do nothing. If you’ve read pro cheer prep guides, new workout tips, gathered advice from former pro cheerleaders, you know enough. Now is the time to put them into action. Just do it!
5. I am thankful for this opportunity.
Auditioning for a professional cheerleading team is a rare journey. Not everyone has the courage, motivation, and resilience to train for an audition where there is no certainty of making the team. But having the freedom to pursue something that you love is worthwhile. It’s a blessing.
6. I focus on what I can control.
There are a lot of things in your life that you have no control over. You cannot control what other people say about your dream to become a professional cheerleader. You cannot control the judges’ decision. But you can control two things -- the efforts you put into your work and your reaction to every situation.
When you get up in the morning, dwell on these thoughts. They will remind you of your potential. Embrace the opportunities that each day of preparing for the auditions has to offer.
