Team Info

In 2016, the Indianapolis Colts cheerleading squad had 13 rookies and 13 veterans - a total of 26 gorgeous and bold young ladies.

The team values physical fitness, motivation, personality, performance, and the ability to speak in public. A Colts cheerleader should also be actively involved in humanitarian activities.

If you become a part of the squad, you'll have the privilege of performing in front of over 63,000 fans and showing up at 300+ events yearly. Most of all, you'll make a lot of amazing memories!

2017 Tryouts

Note that online registration ($25) is currently going on. Please register before March 19, 2017. The squad also accepts walk-ins.

The Indianapolis Colts cheerleading team accepts candidates who are at least 18 years old by May 8, 2017. It would help to watch videos of the current team performing and doing their dance routines. Try practicing their choreography style and speaking in public.

It is important that you adopt a fitness routine. You can get started here: POM FIT™ CLASSES

Also, note that during the preliminaries, you are required to master one routine and perform it with your small group for the judges to see.

If you get chosen as one of the Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders, expect that you will be practicing for 8 months (May to January) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:00 - 10:00 PM. Of course, you'll be provided with breaks.

Prep Classes To Help You Get Ready

The squad offers weekly prep classes to help you have an edge over other participants during the tryouts. Aimed to make you succeed, you will be taught dance techniques and choreography. Fitness and flexibility will also be tackled.

Prep classes cost $25.
