Team Info

In 2016, the New England Patriots cheerleading squad had a total of 33 beautiful members. In addition to performing at the home games at the Gilette Stadium, every Patriots cheerleader is expected to actively participate in community events and promotional appearances.

Being a part of the squad is a wonderful opportunity. You'll be able to perform in front on over 68,000 fans and be seen on television. You will also enjoy a lot of international travel opportunities and get to model for the annual calendar.

Most of all, you'll make lifelong friends!

The Patriots cheerleading squad has two divisions:

The Patriots Cheerleaders Dance Squad - Members of this squad dance at home games and make public appearances.
The Patriots Cheerleaders Promotional Model Squad - Members of this squad do not perform at home games and are mainly responsible for promotional appearances and participating in important events.

Both squads are featured in the yearly swimsuit calendar and poster.

2017 Tryouts

Candidates of the Patriots Cheerleaders Dance Squad and Patriots Cheerleaders Model Squad should be at least 18 years old to join the 2017 tryouts. Regardless of the squad you choose to be part of, you must first complete an online application. Please refer to the link provided above.

PRELIMINARY AUDITIONS SCHEDULE:

Date: March 4, 2017 Saturday at the Pieri Gymnasium at Dean College
Time: Registration starts at 9:30 AM. If you ace all rounds, you should stay until 7:00 PM.

Note that the preliminaries will be a one-day affair.

Attire / Hair & Makeup

For your attire, you are expected to wear neat workout attire and dance shoes. The New England Patriots cheerleading squad mentions that your hair and makeup should look glamorous rather than sporty.

Audition Workshop To Help You Get Ready

To help you succeed in the auditions, the Patriots squad has prepared for you an audition workshop ($125 per participant). Though this workshop is optional, you are encouraged to participate so you can be more confident and ready.

OPTIONAL AUDITION WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:

Date: February 18, 2017 (Saturday)
Time: Registration starts at 9:00 AM. The workshop ends at 3:00 PM.
Location: Dean College, Franklin, MA

In this special workshop, you will be taught dance choreography and fitness and nutritional tips. You will have a question and answer session to tackle all the important elements of the tryouts.
