In 2016, the NFL New York Jets Flight Crew Cheerleading & Dance Team had a total of 39 members. If you make it to the team, you get to perform in front of over 80,000 fans at the MetLife Stadium and enjoy modeling and television opportunities. The Jets Flight Crew is one of the best in the NFL. You'll build strong friendships with other amazing women on the team.

2017 Tryouts

Please note that all applications are to be submitted online. Upload a photo of yourself and a current resume/list of your performance experience.
To be qualified as a candidate, you should be at least 18 years old by April 8, 2017. Another requirement is that you should be able to attend all rehearsals, home games, and appearances once you make the team.
As a Jets Flight Crew cheerleader, you have the opportunity to inspire and motivate people in your community. But before that, you need to prove that you are a good fit for the team. Show enthusiasm and demonstrate your dance skill.

The 2017 audition process will consist of 4 rounds, namely:
- Preliminary Round - In this round, each contestant will be introducing herself to the judges. Groups of 5 contestants will perform a freestyle dance.
- Semi-Final Round - You will be taught a dance and kick combination. Your small group is expected to perform the routine in front of the judges right after it is taught. Please stay until the end of this round for a short meeting with the squad director.
- Interviews - You are to wear a business attire for your 15-minute interview with the Flight Crew director.
- Final Auditions - This is your time to shine and show your unique dance style. You can wear your own attire to enhance your performance. At the end of this round, names of the chosen finalists will be announced.

1. PRELIMINARY ROUND
- Date: April 8, 2017 (Saturday)
- Time: 8:00 AM (Mandatory check-in)

2. SEMI-FINAL ROUND
- Date: April 9, 2017 (Sunday)
- Time: 8:00 AM (Mandatory check-in)
- Venue: MetLife Stadium, 102 Stadium Road, East Rutherford, NJ 07073
3. INTERVIEWS
- Date: Details will be provided to finalists
- Time: Details will be provided to finalists
- Venue: Atlantic Health Jets Training Center, One Jets Drive, Florham Park, NJ 07932
4. FINAL AUDITIONS
- Date: April 22, 2017 (Saturday)
- Time: TBD
- Venue: MetLife Stadium, 102 Stadium Road, East Rutherford, NJ 07073
Please take note that the auditions are closed to the public and that includes your friends and family. Be prepared to stay for the entire day. Bring your own snack and drinks.
What Will You Wear To The Auditions?

- Skin colored dance tights
- Any type of dance shoes
- Complete hair and makeup
Prep Classes To Help You Get Ready

Do you want to skip the Preliminary Round and go straight to the Semi-Final Round? It's possible!
The Jets Flight Crew has organized 6 voluntary prep classes to help you ace the tryouts. You can join each prep class for $35. In these classes, you will be taught the squad's exclusive dance techniques. If your dance ability stands out, you will be given a certificate to skip the Preliminary Round. Q & A sessions with the director will also take place during these classes.
