The 2017 tryouts feature the following rounds:
- Preliminary Round - You will be performing a basic dance technique in front of the judges in a group of three. The technique will be taught to you on the spot. Only 150 candidates will be chosen to proceed to the Semi-Final Round.
- Semi-Final Round - Similar to the preliminary round, you will be taught another routine which you will perform with your group for the judges. But this time, the routine will be one that's similar to what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers perform on the field.
- Training Camp - In this round, 60-75 candidates will be tested for physical fitness and photographed in a Buccaneers uniform. You will also be observed in terms of work ethic and how you interact with other finalists.
