The Detroit Lions are thrilled to announce the auditions for the 2024 Detroit Lions Cheerleaders! This is your opportunity to join one of the most iconic cheerleading squads in the NFL and become a part of the Lions family.
Audition Details and Process
The audition dates have not yet been announced, but you can check their 2024 auditions page for the latest updates. Auditions will be held at Ford Field, 2000 Brush St, Detroit, MI 48226. As for the audition process, it will consist of the following:
- Preliminary round
- Semi-final round
- Interview
- Final round
- Final look rehearsal
It’s important to note that auditions are structured to ensure that all candidates receive fair and equal consideration.
Requirements
To be considered for the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Candidates must have reached the age of 21 by July 1, 2024, with no exceptions permitted.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. The Detroit Lions do not provide sponsorship for international candidates.
- Candidates should be able to show off their dance skills with precision, style, and confidence. They’re looking for dancers who can perform a variety of styles and excel in both choreography and freestyle.
- Be in excellent physical condition and ready to showcase your athleticism!
- The team wants to see your personality shine! Whether you're outgoing, charismatic, or full of enthusiasm, your unique qualities should stand out during the audition process.

Is This Your First Time to Attend an Audition?
For those attending an audition of this nature for the first time, there's much to absorb, as with any new experience! It's common for individuals to audition multiple times before securing a spot on a team of this caliber.
The Detroit Lions Cheerleaders recommend consistent training. Should an offer be extended, readiness to commit to a full-year contract is expected.
