Simplify Your Pro Cheer Prep and Reach Your Goals Faster
Let me ask you a question. Answer me honestly. How many of the things you do in preparation for the auditions don’t make an impact? Do you feel that certain practices should be eliminated because they’re unnecessary?
Today’s topic will be about SIMPLIFICATION. I’m a huge believer in simplifying things to reach a specific goal. You see, there are tons of pro cheer advice about the best ways to lose weight, build strength, improve your appearance, speak better, etc. Trying to absorb all of them results in overwhelm!
To help you understand why simplifying your pro cheer prep helps you reach your goals faster, here are my tips:
1. Reduce your workload.
You don’t need to get bogged down in a multitude of to-dos for pro cheer auditions. Do one thing at a time. There is power in that. If your brain is flooded with information, you cannot give your full attention to what’s right in front of you. Try this: When it’s time to research your pro cheer team, only do research. Set a timer for 30 minutes. You’ll be proud of how much you’ve learned for the day!!!
2. Start your pro cheer prep early.
You cannot cram your way to success. Shortcuts make the journey longer. I see many women procrastinate preparation and cram as audition fast approaches. If you begin early, six months to a year before the auditions, you won’t “run out of time.”
3. Eat foods you love that love you back!
If you want a healthier and fitter body, consume foods you like that benefit you! Plain and simple. The world is full of advice about diets (and a lot of them aren’t enjoyable). You deserve the good stuff and to enjoy it at the same time. Follow this tip, and you will eliminate all the complex grocery shopping and meal prep.

4. Seek advice from people who experienced the same journey.
If you need a guru to teach you what it takes to be the best on the big day, look for someone who has been in the same situation! In pursuit of pro cheer success, we take advice from anything we read and anyone we meet. Not all truths apply to you. This is why you should be extra picky. If you seek information about flexibility, go to a yoga teacher. If you seek advice about audition day prep, go to a former professional cheerleader.

5. Say no to distractions.
No is the hardest word to say. It’s hard to say no to parties that mean you get to sleep at 3 am. It’s hard to say no to treats that you’ll later on regret eating. Remember that by saying no, you’re leaving yourself open to better opportunities that lead to the best results. If an activity doesn’t meet your objectives, decline.
Final Thoughts
Simplify your pro cheer prep using these tips. Simplification is the way to achieve higher levels of productivity. Eliminate the unnecessary. Focus. Don’t overcommit. I know you can simplify!
