Do you dream of performing in front of thousands, showcasing your talent on an NBA stage, and inspiring the next generation of dancers? This is your moment. The Denver Nuggets Dancers (DND) are holding open auditions for their 2025-2026 squad—and it’s your chance to step into the spotlight.
The Denver Nuggets Dancers perform at all home games throughout the NBA season, including pre-season exhibitions, regular season games, and high-energy playoff matchups. Beyond game day, dancers participate in community service events, perform at non-game appearances, and inspire youth through the DND Juniors dance program. They also represent the team on national television and build meaningful friendships along the way—all while getting paid to do what they love.
2025 Audition Schedule*
Preliminary Auditions
Location: Ball Arena
Friday, July 11
- Doors open at 6:00 PM
- Audition material taught and group auditions begin at 6:30 PM
Semifinals
Saturday, July 12 – Start time: 10:00 AM (Doors open at 9:30 AM)
- Small group interviews (audition attire with cover-up)
- Solo performance (four 8-counts of self-choreographed movement; music only available on-site)
- Group performances of Friday’s audition routine
- Finalists announced by 3:00 PM
Finalists’ Training Camp: July 14–18
- Monday to Friday evening rehearsals (wear all black; bring water, kneepads, jazz shoes, and athletic shoes)
- Tuesday: 20-minute individual interviews (schedule provided Monday)
- Thursday: Photo shoot (75-minute appointment, schedule released Monday)
- Friday: Final rehearsal
Final Audition & Showcase
Saturday, July 19 – Check-in at 9:45 AM
Location: Ball Arena
- Final choreography showcase
- 2025-26 DND team announced by 3:00 PM

Audition Requirements
All candidates must:
- Be at least 18 years old by July 11, 2025 (17 with parent/guardian permission)
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Wear athletic attire and non-marking shoes
- Submit an 8" x 10" non-returnable headshot at check-in on July 11
- Provide a dance résumé detailing past experience, education, and three professional references
- Complete the 2025 DND Audition Registration Form and Liability Waiver
- Have reliable transportation and be available for at least 85% of Denver Nuggets home games
Audition Prep Classes
