5 Steps to Supersizing Your Hair
The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders wear their hair big and sexy. Well, not just the DCCC but also the rest of the NFL and NBA dance teams. If you’re thinking of auditioning next year, you need to work on getting big, bouncy hair on the big day.

But why? Big hair makes you look more vibrant, alive, stand out on camera - and of course - super gorgeous.
Here are 5 recommended hacks to achieve more volume in your hair. I suggest that you practice these methods many, many times before the dance auditions.
1 - Flip your hair to the opposite side.
A simple trick to creating big and sexy hair is to change its usual course. Your hair falls naturally to one side and this is why it looks flat. “Challenge” your hair by flipping it to the opposite side. Do this while your hair is still wet. To hold it in place, spray it lightly!
2 - Get a layered haircut.
Is your current haircut plain and blunt? Shift to a layered haircut. Layers help your hair achieve a thicker appearance. Make sure that you ask the expert advice of a hair stylist who can recommend a layered haircut that blends well with the team you’ll be auditioning for. I suggest that you show a picture of the dance team that shows their current hairstyles.
3 - Apply conditioner only at the ends of your hair.
To create supersized hair, avoid applying conditioner to your scalp area. This is truer especially to ladies with an oily scalp. 4 - Apply mousse and blow dry.
Thin and fine hair is a challenge to women auditioning for pro cheerleading. Mousse volumizes thin and fine hair. Distribute a tennis ball-sized amount of mousse throughout your hair and blow-dry it afterward. This should make your hair look healthier. Choose a product that is alcohol-free and prevents frizz. You can find one at the nearest drugstore.
5 - Use a round brush.
Hair brushes really do change the way you look. The beauty of round brushes is that they work well on any hair. Whether you have naturally straight, wavy, or curly hair, a round brush definitely adds and emphasizes curls. To use a round brush, wrap a section of your hair with it and blow-dry that section while slowly releasing the brush.
