In 2016, the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleading squad had a total of 32 squad members. This team performs in front of 70,000 fans and gets featured in top magazines like Maxim and Sports Illustrated. They also travel internationally to perform for their fans in Shanghai, London, Toronto, and more.
When not entertaining fans in the arena, the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders actively participate in environmental projects. Building community awareness, the squad raises funds for the Eagles Go Green and Eagles Tackling Breast Cancer.
2017 Tryouts

To qualify for the 2017 tryouts which will be held on March 18 (Saturday), all candidates should be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate. Take note that high school graduates this year are not eligible to join.
The Open Call Audition will consist of two parts namely:
1. Modelling
2. Dance
DATE & TIME/DETAILS:
- Date: March 18, 2017 (Saturday)
- Place: Lincoln Financial Field inside the Panasonic Club and Touchdown Club
- Address: 1 Lincoln Financial Field Way, Philadelphia, PA 19145 (Intersection of Pattison Avenue and 11th Street)
- Time: 10:00 AM Registration; 12:30 PM Judging
- Please be at the venue by 10:30 AM.
What To Wear/Expect
Please wear sports bra, Lycra shorts, and dance sneakers. Choose makeup that matches your skin tone. Wear your hair down. Don't wear any jewelry. If you have a tattoo, make sure to have it well covered. Be prepared to stay the day. The tryouts will most likely end at 4:00 PM.

How Will You Be Judged?

You will be judged according to the following criteria:
- Physical fitness
- Beauty
- Confidence
- Dance technique or execution
- Showmanship
- Retention of choreography
During the Open Call Audition, there will be at most 2 elimination rounds.
Prep Classes To Help You Get Ready
The Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleading and Dance team will be holding two pre-audition workshops which are the following:
- Dance Prep Workshop - This workshop lets you learn the actual dance routine which will be taught during the Open Call Auditions.
- Audition Prep Workshop - Scheduled on March 1, 2017 at 6 PM - 10 PM, this prep workshop covers important audition tips to help you succeed. You'll have a chance to meet current Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders who will be sharing their audition and cheerleading insights.
