Incredibly Easy Ways to Speed Up Your Morning Beauty Routine
You’ll agree with me when I say that as a professional cheerleader, life gets extremely busy. Aside from our commitment to our squad, we have our work and personal lives to deal with. We’ve all experienced that “panic attack” each morning as we rush to school or work or get our kids ready. Your beauty routine can take a backseat in such situations.
Who says you can’t move fast and still look good? To help you look perfect even if you’re in a hurry, I prepared a simple guide. Read my 7 tricks on cutting your morning beauty routine in half.
1. Dry shampoo
When you lack the time to wash your hair, dry shampoo is the most convenient option. Dry shampoo absorbs oil and sweat. It adds life to flat hair in an instant. It can also be your morning post-gym fix before you head off to work. What’s more, dry shampoo allows you to style waves with less effort. Here a list of the best dry shampoos.

2. Organize your beauty products
Begin by keeping all the makeup items that you use each morning in one place. The last thing you would want is to spend 10 minutes rummaging through your bag and drawers to find your lash curler. Use jars, trays, and pouches to store makeup. You’ll be amazed at how much time you’ll be able to save.
3. Eyelash extensions
There’s a good reason to love eyelash extensions. You can say goodbye to dull and sleepy eyes without applying mascara and eyeliner each morning. Eyelash extensions also make you look amazing 24/7. These usually last for three weeks. Whether to maintain them or not is a personal choice. But if you’re looking to save money, I would recommend using them on big occasions.
4. Don’t try anything new
If you just learned a new beauty trick, it’s best to hold it off until the weekend. Applying that trick when you’re in a rush often leads to bad results. You haven’t mastered the trick. Save it for your free days or else you’ll get a messy look.
5. Microfiber hair towel
Prevent water from dripping all over your body and messing up your skin care regimen by wrapping your hair with a microfiber towel. Celebrity hairstylists swear by these towels because they effectively absorb water without damaging the hair. They also reduce the time it takes to dry with a blower. There are microfiber towels formed like turbans that can easily be secured in place with a button or band.
6. Multitasking products
Having tons of standalone beauty items make you lose count of them. Not just that, making sure that you use all of them each morning is stressful. Maybe you’re thinking that it’s time to pare down the number of your cosmetics. Don’t worry, multi-tasking products won’t compromise your look. You’ll be surprised to find that there’s a lip tint that can also be a cheek blush, a body spray that’s a deodorant + moisturizer + sunblock, and a contour + highlight product.
7. Invest in the right tools
The best makeup won’t give you the perfect look if you don’t use the right tools. Upgrading your tools into “more grown-up” ones makes the application process more flawless. For example, invest in makeup brushes that ensure a good blend, flawless coverage, feels soft, and won’t give odd-looking results.
