2022 NFL New England Patriots Cheerleaders Auditions Info

Auditions are fast approaching! I'm sure you're excited to become part of an NFL pro cheerleading/dance team. Is it the New England Patriots Cheerleaders? Because they've already released this year's audition details. Here's what you need to know about the auditions and getting yourself prepared!

Audition Rounds and Other Details

Here are their 2022 audition dates:

The date for the preliminary rounds hasn’t been announced by the squad management. However, it will be held virtually.
To register for the auditions, visit this page now so you may receive an email with additional details and a link to where you should submit the required audition materials.
There is also a separate audition link for those who want to join the squad as promotional ambassadors instead of dancers.
Applicants are given a deadline of February 25, 2022, to submit their online application along with the required materials to qualify for the semifinal rounds.
The date for the semifinal virtual audition rounds hasn’t been announced as well. Candidates who have been selected to advance to the semifinal rounds will be given additional details on March 3, 2022, via email.
Candidates who make it past the semifinal rounds should expect to attend an in-person rehearsal on the evening of March 22, 2022 (Tuesday), and the in-person Final Auditions on March 26, 2022 (Saturday) at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Please note that the time and dates of the audition rounds may change. Check your email regularly to receive updates.
The New England Patriots Cheerleaders management recommends candidates to check their junk email folder for messages and add [email protected] to their safe sender list.
There will be a $20 registration fee for both the dance team and promotional ambassador team applications.

Qualifications and What the Judges Look for

Qualifications and Requirements:

Age: at least 18 years old by March 26, 2022.
Education: a high school graduate or have a GED by March 26, 2022.
Can commit to attending a minimum of two rehearsal sessions every week as a squad member.
No severe communication, physical, and sensory disabilities.
You must have the strength to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Judging Criteria

Experience or a natural ability for dancing.
You must be comfortable with public speaking and appearances.
Have a fit physique and the ability to maintain it.

If a candidate with disabilities becomes a squad member, the New England Patriots Cheerleaders management may make reasonable accommodations to enable them to perform the essential functions for the job. Audition Attire

For dance video submissions, you must wear neat workout attire with sneakers or dance shoes. Your hair and makeup must follow a combination of glamour and sporty styles. You won’t be required to cover tattoos and piercings during the audition. However, if you make it to the team, you’ll only be allowed to wear one pair of post earrings while concealing tattoos that cannot be covered by the squad uniform.

Prep Classes

Audition preparation classes for the New England Patriots Cheerleaders have already started since October 18, 2021. However, you still have the chance to learn what it takes to be part of the team by attending the last two sessions on February 7, 2022, and February 21, 2022. These classes will cover dance techniques and the proper use of pompoms for the price of $25 each. Visit this link for more details.

There will also be an optional audition workshop that will be held on February 12, 2022. The session will include the Patriots Cheerleaders’ choreography, freestyle work, dance techniques, information and guidance about your audition submission, a Q&A portion and discussion, and a fitness workout. The workshop starts at 9 in the morning and would end at 1 in the afternoon with an 8:45 am check-in. See more details here.

The New England Patriots Cheerleaders is a squad consisting of thirty women plus three men and has been cheering since their inception in 1971. Their NFL team has won six super bowl championships, making them the second team with the most wins tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Most aspirants of the Pats cheerleaders love the organization for its philanthropic works toward the New England community and how they value teamwork. They do their best to secure a spot in the squad and stay there as serving hardcore fans.
