7 Daily Habits That Will Boost Your Audition Prep Motivation

There are plenty of ways to boost your motivation for getting your audition prep tasks done. We’ve shared a list of positive quotes and their impact, foods you should eat, and mindset shifts to make. But did you know that you can also increase your enthusiasm from simple daily tasks?

In this article, you’re going to learn daily habits to develop at home so you can be more prepared for an upcoming audition.

1. Prayer and meditation

Have you ever heard about someone losing motivation after praying and meditating? Of course you haven’t. That’s because meditation resets your mind by letting your stress out. Follow it up with a prayer of gratitude, you’ll find strength and energy to face the day and do your prep tasks.

2. Making your bed

Motivation manifests from success. No matter how small it is, getting something done gives you an immense sense of accomplishment and energy to do more. To find your first source of motivation for the day, start by making your bed. Then, congratulate yourself for a job well done.

3. Getting dressed

A productive and forward-thinking mindset is often influenced by the way we dress. For those who don’t undress their pajamas right after they get off the bed, they’ll often feel less committed and sluggish. If you set a schedule to exercise after waking up, quickly get into your activewear after making your bed or put it on as your sleeping apparel.

4. Following a morning routine

Nothing gets done unless you act. A morning routine is the best way to set your day in motion without you even realizing it. To have a morning routine, make a habit of doing #1 to #3. Then, add other daily activities like drinking water, eating breakfast, exercising, and taking a shower.

5. Use tech but don’t let it use you

Smartphones, computers, and smartwatches greatly benefit our daily lives if we only use them as tools. Examples would be using your phone and smartwatch to monitor your sleep quality and using your computer to read important emails.

But once you start procrastinating, all your motivation will be gone. As much as possible, maintain a conscious effort to put your gadgets down when it’s no longer necessary to use them. Turn off your social media notifications and put a usage timer on every nonessential application.

6. Learning a new thing every day

Developing a habit of learning fills your life with purpose and motivation. So read a useful book or article once a day. Better yet, read my book (link given below) and other articles from PRO CHEER LIFE. It doesn’t matter if what you’re reading piques your interest or not. What matters is that what you learn can be used for good and can help you handle life’s problems.

7. Finding purpose

You have a purpose for wanting to be a pro cheerleader and that should be your source of motivation each day to help you focus. But in the long run, this source of motivation may become less effective.

Alternatively, you can find a different purpose every day to be a pro cheerleader. It can be for your parents, significant other, friends, football fans, players of the game, the sport, or the profession itself. By doing so, you’ll never run out of motivation to do your best.

At the end of the day, never forget to celebrate your small victories. Count the things you have accomplished and reward yourself for the good work. So that when tomorrow comes, you always have something to look forward to for doing your best.
