Today, let's talk about another benefit of being a morning person - yup, the opportunity to engage in simple beauty rituals that make a big difference. With these 9 simple morning rituals, you’re guaranteed to be shining beautifully  throughout the day.

1. Hydrate

Drinking plain water or water with a slice of lemon can not only kickstart your body for a workout, but it will also flush out your toxin from your bloodstream, leaving your skin clear and glowing!

2. Shower with cold water and use your best shower products

If drinking water flushes out toxins, a cold shower cleanses your body externally. A cold shower improves blood circulation and reduces pain especially from muscle soreness among those who've had an intense workout session. Choosing to shower in cold water also leaves your skin and hair glowing. 

3. Exfoliate

After your cold shower, it's time to bring out your beauty exfoliants. Scrub your face with an exfoliating moisturizer to remove dead skin cells. This will leave your skin looking clear and healthy. Having this as your morning routine will eventually reduce signs of aging since exfoliation can reduce the presence of fine lines on your face. However, be careful not to exfoliate too much. 

4. Meditate

Music and silence aren’t the only simple morning rituals to remove anxiety and stress. Even meditation is a good way to make you beautiful inside and out. If you have found meditation to be effective in managing your negative emotions, then a 30-minute morning meditation to prevent stress that reflects on your face would be perfect.

5. Eat a fiber or protein-filled breakfast

Toss out the carbs and take in healthy food. Green leafy veggies are rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals that are ideal for a healthy skin glow. Want something specific? Go for a carrot juice with chicken as a dish. Carrots have beta carotene which when consumed moderately, can give you naturally glowing skin. Chicken supplies you with protein and gives your immunity a boost so that you’ll stay healthy throughout the day while feeling full.

6. Workout

A current or aspiring pro cheerleader’s morning would never be complete without a workout. It increases blood flow in your body to nourish your skin cells. A good workout also cleanses your body of waste products and free radicals. If it's not possible to workout outdoors, an indoor workout is always a great option - it's as effective as the former too! 

7. Listen to music

Now that you’re done with your active routine, it's time to calm yourself with your favorite music. It’s no secret that music benefits us by relieving stress and when you’re stress-free, you’re guaranteed to be calm, composed, and smiling throughout the day. This gives you that beautiful radiance. 

8. Have some quiet time

If listening to music isn’t your cup of tea to de-stress, then a minute to an hour of silence can be a good morning ritual as well. This peace period of the day can also help you reflect, refresh, restart, and reevaluate your mental well-being and your plans in life.

9. Have coffee but drink lots of water too

This one's for coffee lovers. Coffee does have a lot of antioxidant properties for skin beauty, but too much of it can cause anxiety and hypertension. If you can’t take that delicious brew off your morning routine, then balance it by drinking lots of water afterwards.
