2022 NFL Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders Auditions Info

Auditions are fast approaching! I'm sure you're excited to become part of an NFL pro cheerleading/dance team. Is it the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders? Because they've already released this year's audition details. Here's what you need to know about the auditions and getting yourself prepared!

Audition Rounds and Other Details

Dates for the Audition Rounds:

Preliminary audition round deadline: April 5, 2022 (Tuesday).
Semifinal audition round deadline: April 21, 2022 (Thursday).
Final audition round: To be announced in Atlanta.

Other Audition Details

Audition registration closes on April 4, 2022 (Monday), at 11:59 pm Easter Time.
Both the preliminary and semifinal audition rounds will be held through video submissions.
The final audition round will be held in person. All finalists are required to attend.
Semifinalists will be announced on April 19, 2022 (Tuesday).
Finalists will be announced on April 29, 2022 (Friday).
There will be a live virtual Q&A with the coaches on April 20, 2022 (Wednesday). Attendance is optional.

Qualifications and What the Judges Look for

Qualifications and Requirements:

You must be at least 18 years old by June 5, 2022.
Academic achievements: High school graduate or have a G.E.D. by June 15, 2022.
Have a full-time, part-time job, or be a college student.

Judging Criteria

Appearance: Show that you follow good hygiene. Wear a combined makeup style of light glamorous and sporty. Conceal tattoos that are not hidden by your audition attire. Wear only one pair of earrings that aren’t big and bedazzling.
Good or high levels of showmanship.
Extensive or professional level of dance/cheer ability.
You must be in a fit shape.

Audition Attire

For your preliminary and semifinal video submission, you must wear a two-piece leotard and skin-tone/matte tights. You can also choose to wear a sports bra top and dance shorts. The top outfit for the final audition round will be provided by the team for you at no cost. However, you’ll need to submit your clothing size along with your preliminary round video and provide your own black bottom for the final audition round.

Prep Classes

The audition preparation classes for the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders will be hosted in two ways: Virtual which costs $25/class or Hybrid with the price of $40/class (virtual or in-person). The virtual classes will teach you NFL dance styles and choreographies while the hybrid classes include an extended themed dance class followed by tips and tricks for the audition.

The Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders consist of 40 female and male members who perform for their home team in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. They were established in 1969 as The Falconettes before being changed to their current name in 1976.

Most of the time, the Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders and players often get mistaken for their Arizona Cardinals peers due to the similarity of their color themes and team logo designs. Only hardcore fans of their respective communities can tell each other apart.
