2022 NFL Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders Auditions Info

Auditions are fast approaching! I'm sure you're excited to become part of an NFL pro cheerleading/dance team. Is it the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders? Because they've already released this year's audition details. Here's what you need to know about the auditions and getting yourself prepared!

Audition Rounds and Other Details

Here are their 2022 audition dates:

Register online for the 2022 Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders auditions through this link first.
The preliminary round will be on April 2, 2022 (Saturday).
Candidates who will proceed as semi finalists will be informed on April 6, 2022 (Wednesday) via email. The same email will contain additional information regarding the next steps of the audition.
Semifinalists can also check their names on the auditions webpage on April 6th.
A semifinal dance rehearsal is scheduled for April 13, 2022 (Wednesday), and will start at 6:00 pm with a 10:00 pm conclusion. It will cover an information session as well.
The semifinal round is on April 14, 2022 (Thursday) with a 6:00 pm check-in time.
Current Eagles cheerleaders will skip the preliminary audition round but will participate in the semifinal tryouts.
On April 15, 2022 (Friday), those who will proceed to the business interviews will be announced on the auditions webpage and notified via email.
May 14, 2022 (Saturday) will be the final audition round and will run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The semifinal dance rehearsal, audition, and final round will all be held in person at the Lincoln Financial Field.
Selected squad members for the 2022 NFL season will be notified via email on May 16, 2022 (Tuesday).

Qualifications and What the Judges Look For

Qualifications and requirements:

Must be 18 years of age.
Have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Be passionate about helping others and community outreach activities
You have the ability to master professional-level dance choreographies.
Candidates with strong teamwork skills, friendliness, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude are highly preferred.
The ability to successfully perform actions involved in dancing.
A high school diploma, G.E.D., or any equivalent.
The Philly Eagles cheerleaders management prefers candidates that are working professionals and/or students pursuing tertiary education.
Pro cheerleaders are currently subjected to a COVID-19 vaccination and booster requirement by law.
You must have a flexible schedule for appearances, dance rehearsals, and other important squad activities during weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Personal Accountability - Knowing your responsibilities well and taking ownership of your actions when they yield positive or negative results.
Integrity & Values - Trustworthiness when it comes to helping the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders perform their duties well and move forward inside and outside the arena.
Interpersonal Confidence - The ability to talk to people with joy, clarity, and professionalism.
Results-Oriented - Thinking on your feet to suggest or impose good decisions for the greater benefit of the squad.
Adaptability - Responding quickly and effectively to changes in the pro cheer scene without being fazed or affected severely.

Audition Attire

The audition attire required for the auditions hasn’t been specified by the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders management. However, we recommend reading this blog post or visiting the Philly Eagles Cheerleaders’ Instagram for audition attire inspirations. You can also have your own custom audition outfit made by The Line-Up.

Prep Classes

There will be no workshop or audition prep classes for the aspirants of the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders. We recommend attending clinics held by other NFL pro cheerleading squads. It’s also best to read more articles from PRO CHEER LIFE.

About the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders

The Eagles Cheerleaders is the oldest pro cheer team according to the record. It was created in 1948 and was known as the Eaglettes. In 1970, the squad’s name changed into the Liberty Belles before settling with its current name in the present day. This pro cheer squad is one of the co-ed dance troops in the NFL with a total of 31 members. Two are men and the rest are women.
