2022 NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders Auditions Info

Auditions are fast approaching! I'm sure you're excited to become part of an NFL pro cheerleading/dance team. Is it the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders? Because they've already released this year's audition details. Here's what you need to know about the auditions and getting yourself prepared!

Audition Rounds and Other Details

Here are their 2022 audition dates:

The preliminary round starts and will be held virtually on March 19, 2022 (Sunday). On the day, you will receive an email with a link to the choreography you’ll perform, music to use, and instructions on how to submit the video. But first, you must fill up your audition application.
Submission of audition application will close on March 18, 2022 (Friday) at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time. Please fill up the form as soon as possible for late submissions will not be accepted.
The deadline for the video submissions is on March 21, 2022 (Monday) at 10:00 am EST.
There will be no semifinals. Finalists will be selected on March 25, 2022 (Friday). All candidates will receive a notification of whether they’ll proceed or not. Those who will advance will receive additional instructions for the final rounds.
The schedule for the formal interviews is to be decided with the finalists.

Qualifications and What the Judges Look For

Qualifications and requirements:

To audition, you must be 18 years of age or older by March 19, 2022.
You must be able to attend all rehearsals, appearances, game day performances, and other Bucs-related events before and during the regular 2022 NFL season.
Have a reliable means of transportation from your home to Bucs events.

Judging Criteria

The accuracy of how you execute the given choreography is one of the criteria for judging.
Your level of performance and the amount of technical dancing skills you possess will be judged as well. Learn more technical dance skills from the videos found at the bottom of this page.

Audition Attire

The audition attire required for the auditions hasn’t been specified by the Bucs Cheerleaders management. However, we recommend reading this blog post or visiting the Bucs Cheerleaders’ Instagram for audition attire inspirations. You can also, have your own custom audition outfit made by The Line-Up.

Prep Classes

There will be a workshop for the candidates of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders. However, the workshop is yet to be decided and will either be a preparation for the preliminary or final audition rounds. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders, also known as the Bucs Cheerleaders consists of 27 members of which five are men. They perform on all of the Buccaneers’ home games at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

Out of all NFL pro dance teams, only the Bucs Cheerleaders have a default uniform of sporty tight pants — contrary to the standard outfit of short skirts and shorts.
