2019 NBA Celtics Dance Team Auditions Info

Auditions are fast approaching for the NBA Celtics Dance Team. Today, we’re giving you an overview of their 2019 tryouts. Excited? You should be! Their 2019 dance auditions will take place on July 12, 13, and 14, at the Auerbach Center, Brighton. If you're interested to join this year, be sure to start your preparation today.

However, let's take a look at the details from last year to get an idea of what to expect:
Qualifications and What the Judges Look for
The Celtics Dance Team's 2018 auditions had the following minimum requirements: Must be 18 years of age and should have a high school diploma or GED. Dancers that would be selected should be willing to relocate to Boston and be able to attend all rehearsals and games.
Audition Attire
The dance outfit consisted of a two-piece with flesh-colored nylons and middriff. Sneakers or jazz shoes were the preferred footwear. Tattoos were to be covered.

About the Celtics Dance Team
The NBA Celtics Dance Team represent the Boston Celtics professional basketball team. Some of the best things about being part of this dance team include being able to maximize one's skills in performing and dancing, representing Boston, and forming lifelong friendships with cheer sisters. There are 18 members of the 2018-2019 squad. Some of them are students while others are professionals.
